Wisconsin Regional Event

DOOR COUNTY CLASSIC

Location: Sawyer Park Boat Launch

Event Date(s): July 27th, 2024

Dive Start: 8AM (Check in from 8AM - 10AM)

Dive End: 3PM (Weigh ins begin at 3PM)

Weigh In Time: 2PM (Food and drinks provided.)

Rules:

• Competitors will abide by all WI DNR regulations
• Only panfish and rough fish are permitted to be speared in WI waters

• All fish entered must be speared within the competition zone on the day of competition
• Competition zone is Door County’s entire Lake Michigan shoreline (i.e. both bay and lake side). Inland lakes are off limits.
• Keep your emergency contact informed with your entry point(s) - this is so that we can find you if you get stranded, etc.
• Buddy diving strongly recommended
• Divers arriving solo can link up with a buddy at check-in
• At least one dive float and flag is required per group of divers
• Competitors arriving after weigh in time of 3:00 PM will not be considered for placement

Scoring:

Panfish

• 1 point per inch, adding up length of 5 biggest panfish
• Additional 5 points for each species of panfish measured

Rough Fish

• 1 point per inch of your longest rough fish

****Please keep game fish on ice. You are responsible for disposal of all fish.
