2025 Big Mac Spearfishing Tournament at Lake McConaughy
Platte River Scuba Divers is hosting the 2025 Big Mac Spearfishing Tournament at Lake McConaughy, Nebraska that will be held July 25th and 26th 2025 at the low water boat ramp at the north end of the dam. The event will draw participants from all over the United States. We need sponsors to help us make this another successful event. Sponsorship money will be used for supplies and/or raffle prizes. Raffle prizes can be absolutely anything, as the general public is invited to the celebration at the end of the tournament, and anyone can purchase raffle tickets. We want to acknowledge all our sponsors. If you choose to sponsor our event, please send your high resolution logo to Nebraska PrintWorks at printit@nebraskaprintworks.com with subject line: PRSD by July 3rd at the very latest to be included in the sponsor banner that will hang at the tournament. We plan to have prizes, raffle and a fish fry Saturday night at Lake Ogallala Campground. We plan to set up Thursday the 24th at Lake Ogallala and stay until Sunday morning. Breakfasts will be served each day and dinner each night. Please make your reservations at Neb Game & Parks. We will advise you on where we will set up at Lake Ogallala Campground shortly.
We will set up and reserve campsites 78 thru 82 for our crew. Close by is 55 thru 59 at Lake Ogallala.
